Techgate Co-Locate is the ideal service for hosting business critical online systems that need to be available on a 24 x 7 basis, as it combines highly secure hosting environments with Techgate’s ultra reliable and high speed network infrastructure.

Techgate Co-Locate offers:

  • Flexibility – A highly flexible service offering a wide range of rack space and bandwidth options, all of which can be easily and quickly upgraded as your requirements increase.
  • On Demand High Speed Internet Connectivity – Dedicated Internet bandwidth from 1Mb upwards with 10Mb or 100Mb burst capability.
  • Security – All clients’ servers are hosted in Techgate’s highly secure data centres, located in IBM Business Continuity buildings with 24 hour manned security with CCTV backup and swipe card access control systems within the buildings.
  • Reliable Power Supplies - Clean and continuous mains power with building level UPS systems and dual generator backup.
  • Online Disk-to-Disk Data Backup - The data on any servers hosted on the Techgate Co-Locate service can, as an optional extra, be automatically and securely backed up onto the Techgate Online Backup storage platforms, thus ensuring that the data can, when required, be simply and quickly restored.

Techgate provides the following services for the Techgate Co-locate offering:

  • Monitoring of all server & Internet connections 24 x 7 x 365.
  • Service Level guarantee of 99.95% - measured on a monthly basis.
  • Comprehensive technical support by phone, fax or email.
  • Dedicated technical support team with, networking, security and database skills.
  • Management of all connections to Techgate provided & managed firewalls; Techgate offers a choice of SonicWALL systems from single dedicated units to high availability systems with automatic failover.
  • Highly skilled “Remote Hands” service, available on request, to provide assistance with system reboots and other similar requirements.

All the above services are delivered from Techgate’s secure data centres, within IBM Business Continuity buildings, and utilise Techgate’s high speed, ultra reliable network infrastructure which has direct connections to three Tier 1 Internet backbone providers - Cable & Wireless, Energis and Level3 communications.
