The Managed Business Continuity Server is ideal for businesses looking for a cost effective, off-site solution for covering the loss of a single or multiple servers. The Managed Business Continuity Server’s true benefit is realised when it is used in conjunction with Techgate Online Backup thus giving you rapid systems and data recovery.
The Managed Business Continuity Server offers the following features:

multi-processor capable servers; standard specification as
follows: rack mount HP DL380 servers, single or dual Intel
3GHz Xeon processor, 2Gb RAM, 3 x 72Gb Drives running under
RAID5, Redundant Fans & Power Supplies, 10/100 Network card,
loaded and configured with Windows 2003.
- On Demand High Speed Internet Connectivity – Dedicated Internet bandwidth
from 1Mb upwards with 10Mb or 100Mb burst capability.
- Security – All of Techgate’s managed servers are hosted
in Techgate’s own data
centres, located in IBM Business Continuity buildings which provide 24
hour security with CCTV surveillance and swipe card access
control systems within the buildings.
- Reliable Power Supplies
- Clean and continuous mains power with building level UPS
systems and dual generator backup.
Techgate provide the following services, as standard, for all Managed Business Continuity Servers:
- Monitoring of all servers and Internet connections
24/7/365.
- Fully managed hardware & maintenance with replacement machines on standby.
- Remote Hands support including system reboots as required.
- Management of connections to TechgateSecure Managed Firewalls.
- Dedicated technical support team with networking and security

- Loading of security patches as and when issued (only
